It is not permissible to take anything from a worker's wage, nor to accept a gift or payment from office owners, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Gifts to officials are ill-gotten gains (ghulool)," and he also said: "Would he not have sat in the house of his father and mother to see if he would be given a gift or not?" As for an office requesting a worker to be brought, if it stems from friendship, and the worker's presence does not lead to their transactions being prioritized over others, and you do not take anything from their wage, then there is no harm. But if it is not friendship, then it is apparent that he wishes to gain favor with you in order to benefit, so you must close this door.
