The hadith indicates that the deceased benefits from the supplication of the living, and that a person will be questioned and tested in their grave. Two angels will come to them and ask them about their Lord, their religion, and the man who was sent among them. The believer will be firm, and a bed from Paradise will be spread for them, and their grave will be expanded for them, and their good deeds will appear to them in a beautiful form. As for the disbeliever and the hypocrite, they will not be able to answer, and it will be proclaimed that they have lied, and a bed from Hellfire will be spread for them, and their grave will be constricted upon them, and their evil deeds will appear to them in an ugly form.
