The answer

The space does not permit mentioning the lineage of the prophets; it is advisable to refer to the book "Stories of the Prophets" by Ibn Kathir.

Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq is not one of the prophets; rather, he is the best of their followers, coming directly after the prophets in rank, as stated in the Almighty's saying: "And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions!"

He was from Quraysh, from the Taym tribe, and his lineage meets with that of the Prophet (peace be upon him) at Murrah ibn Ka'b (the seventh grandfather of the Prophet). His name is Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Amir ibn Amr ibn Ka'b ibn Sa'd ibn Taym ibn Murrah ibn Ka'b ibn Lu'ay ibn Ghalib. He is the best of the Ummah after its Prophet, his companion in the cave, his companion in the migration, and the first of his caliphs.
