What is your opinion on the ruling concerning celebrating Valentine's Day?

It is not permissible to celebrate Valentine's Day or other holidays of non-Muslims, as this involves imitating the disbelievers. The Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." This holiday is one of the most reprehensible holidays because it celebrates the demise of one of the lovers of vice, so celebrating it implies an affirmation of the path of that deceased person.
