What is the ruling on speaking with a female relative, limiting the conversation to religious matters, with the family's knowledge, and being careful to avoid falling into what is forbidden?

The inclination of the two genders towards each other is a natural disposition (fitra), but the wise Shari'ah has blocked all avenues leading to temptation (fitna). Thus, it has prohibited communication and correspondence between non-mahram men and women without a need, even if the girl is righteous, and the conversation is about religious matters, and her mother is aware. All of this does not justify the communication, because it is one of the devil's footsteps. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against the temptation of women, saying: "I have not left behind me any temptation more harmful to men than women." Therefore, it is obligatory to cut off the relationship and stay away from communicating with the girl, following the example of the righteous predecessors who greatly esteemed the matter of the temptation of women and avoided it.
