Is it permissible to masturbate when feeling pain in the penis after arousal, in order to get rid of the pain and divert thoughts from such matters, given the inability to marry?

Praise be to Allah for abandoning sin. Mere abandonment is not enough; rather, the heart must repent, feel remorse, and resolve not to return to the sin. The conditions for an accepted repentance and the signs of its acceptance have been previously explained. The ruling on masturbation due to pain is prohibition, but it is permissible for severe pain if it is the only means available and no other alternative can replace it.
