What is the share of the mother and the grandmother (father's mother) in inheritance?

The paternal aunts and paternal uncles who are the father's siblings from the mother's side do not inherit. The grandmother does not inherit because she is completely excluded by the mother. As for the two full paternal uncles, they do inherit. The mother receives one-third because there is no heir from the offspring and no group of siblings, according to the Almighty's saying: "And if he has no child and his parents inherit from him, then for his mother is one-third." The remainder goes equally to the two full paternal uncles, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative." Thus, the inheritance is divided into three shares: one share for the mother, and one share for each full paternal uncle.
