What is the jurisprudential effect resulting from the brotherhood established between the Muhajirun and the Ansar?

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) established a brotherhood between the Muhajirun (Emigrants) and the Ansar (Helpers) in the first year of the Hijra in Medina, to remove the desolation of expatriation and unify the Muslims. This brotherhood led to inheritance among them until the revelation of the verse: "And those related by blood are nearer to one another [in inheritance] in the book of Allah." So, inheritance became based on kinship, not on the bond of brotherhood.
