As for the other narration, Muslim narrated from Aisha: "That the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, married her when she was seven years old, and she was brought to him when she was nine years old, and her dolls were with her, and he passed away when she was eighteen years old." Al-Nawawi reconciled between the two narrations by stating that "he married me when I was seven" meant she was six and a fraction. So, one narration sufficed with the full years, while the other counted the year she entered into.
