As for gold and silver that have images of animate beings on them, they are not permissible. However, selling absolute gold, necklaces, and rings is permissible, unless they are used for something forbidden. Pharaonic history books and pharaonic antiquities are not permissible to sell to tourists because their purpose is to revive paganism. As for clothing, such as scarves and galabiyas, it is permissible to sell them unless their intended use is for something forbidden. Most of what was mentioned is forbidden to sell, and dealing with tourists can be a temptation.
