Is slandering an abusive husband or relative considered backbiting, even if it is not known who he is? Is it permissible to incite retaliation for abuse under the pretext of seeking justice? Are women who argue among themselves because of these writings sinful?

Slandering an unknown person is not considered backbiting unless it is possible to search for them and identify them. In that case, it is considered backbiting. A Muslim should accustom their tongue to good speech and beware of evil words, for a believer is neither a slanderer nor a curser. If a woman has a right over her husband, she may demand it without aggression or creating a problem, and calling for reconciliation and reform is better for preserving the family. One must verify and not be drawn into claims, as not every woman who claims injustice is truthful.
