When is a second marriage an injustice to the first wife, and what is the meaning of Allah’s saying: "Allah does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged"? Is the husband sinful for his silence regarding his first wife's cursing and reviling of the second, under the pretext of preventing escalation?

A man marrying another wife is permissible, provided he deals justly. Whoever claims that this is an injustice to the first wife is mistaken. The first wife cursing the second and reviling her is unlawful, and her using the Qur’an to justify her sin is invalid. The husband must not remain silent about this transgression; he must forbid her from cursing and reviling, because his silence makes him sinful and negligent in his responsibility as a guardian over his family.
