Is it permissible to shorten the prayer (qasr) during a journey of 120 kilometers, even though the shortening of prayer is performed on the road for distances less than 80 kilometers?

As soon as one departs from their place of residence with the intention of traveling, they become a traveler according to Sharia and are permitted to avail themselves of the concessions of travel, such as shortening and combining prayers, even if they have not yet covered a distance of 80 kilometers. However, it is not permissible to avail oneself of these concessions before departing from all the houses of the village in which one resides.
