Is accepting a gift from one's father to an official at work considered bribery, and is the money earned from this work unlawful?

If the job is rightfully hers, then there is no sin upon the father or the daughter in paying the bribe, and the sin is upon the one who takes it. However, if the job is not rightfully hers, then paying the bribe is not permissible, and the sin is upon the father, and he must repent. If the daughter performs her work as required, then there is no objection to her continuing. Otherwise, she must inform the officials, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm," and "The property of a Muslim person is not lawful except with his good consent."
