What is the definition of ill-gotten wealth (haram مال), what are its types and methods of acquisition, and what are the consequences and harms of obtaining wealth through illicit means?

Unlawful wealth is of two types, and many forms and methods of acquiring it fall under them, all characterized by being Batil (falsehood/unjust), such as usurpation, looting, gambling, and bribery. Among the worldly harms of unlawful wealth are the non-acceptance of supplications and the removal of blessings, and among its harms in the hereafter is entry into Hellfire.
