What is the ruling on someone who offers a sacrifice (udhiyah) but does not pray – is that permissible?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The deeds of one who abandons prayer are not accepted, whether it be fasting or sacrifice, because he is an apostate disbeliever. So, whoever wishes to offer a sacrifice while not praying, he must first repent to Allah; otherwise, his sacrifice will not be accepted, and he will not be rewarded for it. And if he slaughters it himself, his slaughtered animal is carrion, and it is not permissible to eat from it.
