What is the ruling on giving the Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) as money to charities for them to slaughter it on behalf of the sacrificer in his absence?

It is best for the sacrificing person to slaughter their own sacrifice, eat from it, and give a portion in charity, in imitation of the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is permissible to delegate charitable organizations and others to slaughter the sacrifice and distribute it.
