What is the ruling on leaving electronic devices with a teenage son when the parents know that he uses them to watch anime series containing intellectual and moral deviations, especially given that preventing him from doing so might push him to watch them through other means outside the home?

One must balance between depriving the son of devices and him falling into bad company, and leaving them in his hand while continuously advising, monitoring, and reducing his attachment to them, and bartering with him for good deeds. This should be combined with engaging him in beneficial programs such as scientific and documentary ones, and striving to provide safe alternatives to what the son desires, such as: attending circles of remembrance and da'wah, and occupying him with a sports club or cultural activities.

Furthermore, an atmosphere of faith must be provided in the home, maintaining supererogatory prayers and fasting, arranging regular da'wah meetings, befriending righteous families while restricting communication with non-observant relatives, and offering advice and wisdom in interaction without anger and shouting.

Care should also be taken to reduce the hours young children spend in front of screens so that they do not become addicted to them, and to allocate a daily educational program for them, rewarding them with screen time, accustoming them to reading and physical games, all while humbly supplicating to Allah Almighty for the righteousness of the children.
