Does he agree with the opinion of one who refused to wash the dead due to a blunting of feeling and harshness towards the dead, even though there is a need for it?

Washing the deceased is permissible for a Muslim woman if the need arises and she is known for her goodness and proficiency. The one who performs it will be rewarded, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever fulfills the need of his brother, Allah will fulfill his need," and "Allah is in the aid of His servant as long as the servant is in the aid of his brother."
