Is it permissible for the one washing the deceased to make prejudgments about the deceased (such as impiety and lack of faith) if it becomes difficult to remove their clothes because their joints have stiffened, knowing that the deceased was in a state of ablution and in a prayer posture?

The washer (female) erred in issuing a judgment of moral depravity (fisq) against the deceased woman whose clothes could not be removed. This statement is a baseless accusation (rajm bil-ghaib) and an ill-advised audacity. She must repent. She should be advised and have her error explained to her, and she should not speak except with knowledge, nor should she delve into the reputations of Muslims, especially after their death. For we are commanded to conceal the faults of the morally corrupt (fasiq) and the disobedient, and not to expose their فسق (immorality), and to conceal what the washer sees of the deceased if it is not good.
