The blood a woman sees is considered menstruation as long as the duration of the bleeding and the intervening purity does not exceed 15 days. If a woman becomes pure and her purity continues for months, she is considered pure, and the rulings for pure women apply to her, because there is no limit to the maximum duration of purity. As for the days of purity that interrupt menstruation, they are considered valid purity, so there is no need to make up for acts of worship performed during them.

Accordingly, if a woman sees blood, she is considered menstruating and abstains from prayer and fasting. If the bleeding stops, she performs ghusl, prays, and fasts. If the blood returns within 15 days, she becomes menstruating again. If she becomes pure after this period, she remains pure until the blood returns.
