If a man gives his wife money for household expenses, and the wife saves some of it through her good management, there is no sin upon her, provided that: there is no deception or lying to the husband, that such saving does not restrict the family, that the saving is generally for the benefit of the household, and that the husband does not forbid her from doing so. As for her saving from her own salary, there is no sin in it, because it is her property.
