Is it permissible to count the amount paid for a son's marriage as Zakat on wealth?

There is no objection to giving zakat to a son to help him marry, because this is not obligatory upon the father. It is permissible to give him zakat due to his need and poverty if he is an adult capable of earning. However, it is not permissible to count what was previously spent on the son's education or marriage from zakat money, because the intention for zakat was not present at that time.
