It is permissible to play electronic games if they are free of prohibitions, such as not distracting from prayer and remembrance of Allah, and not containing gambling, music, or裸 (nude) images, and not leading to animosity. It is also permissible to spend money to acquire the game itself, but not for gambling. A Muslim must utilize their time in what benefits them, for a person will be questioned about their life and how they spent it.
