Employees must adhere to the agreement with their employer regarding working hours and the nature of the work. It is not permissible to be negligent and take a full salary. An urgent necessity may permit the manager to authorize an employee's departure. Likewise, it is not permissible for an employee to be late for work or leave before its end, even if there is no work, because the salary is tied to time.

It is not permissible for an employee to leave work without the permission of their supervisor and without disrupting the work. The manager does not have the right to permit an imam to leave the imamate for the Dhuhr and Asr prayers; it is obligatory for imams to adhere to their responsibilities.

As for seeking knowledge from the shaykh, there is no harm in it if his knowledge is beneficial, and he may be interpreting his actions. One can acquire knowledge from him and disregard what is perceived as his error. If there is someone else among the upright, it is better to learn from them, and abandoning him might be a deterrent to his error. However, abandoning the acquisition of beneficial knowledge from him is a shortcoming and a deprivation.
