If you are in your final year and wear the niqab, and you realize the danger of mixing with the opposite gender, there is no harm for you in explaining your project to the doctor (professor) and the teaching assistant. It is better that this be done via an audio recording to minimize harm. There is no harm in using the college's electricity for this purpose.
