Can a woman who has been divorced three times return to her husband while she is pregnant, through the intervention of mediators and lawyers, without going to court?

If a man says to his wife, "You are divorced, divorced, divorced," and by the first utterance he intended divorce, and the subsequent ones were merely an affirmation, or if he intended nothing, then only one divorce occurs. However, if he intended to initiate divorce with all three pronouncements, then three divorces occur according to the majority of scholars.

If the husband intended one divorce or had no intention, then the reconciliation is valid if it occurs before the delivery of the child and this divorce does not complete the count of three. It is not a condition to refer the matter to a Sharia court.

If he intended to effect three divorces, then she becomes unlawful for him and will not be permissible for him until she marries another husband out of desire, and then he divorces her after consummation. In this case, the reconciliation is considered void.

However, Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and those who agreed with him held the view that only one divorce occurs, even if the husband intended to effect three divorces. Based on this opinion, reconciliation is valid if it occurs before the completion of the waiting period (iddah) and this divorce does not complete the count of three.
