Do repeated nocturnal emissions and masturbation during sleep in the daytime in Ramadan, along with feeling aroused and doubt about the act being volitional, necessitate Ghusl and expiation?

One who is asleep is not held accountable for their actions. Therefore, if someone experiences a wet dream or masturbates while asleep, they are not held accountable for it, nor does it affect their fast. They are not required to offer expiation (kaffarah). However, they must perform ghusl (ritual bathing) if semen is discharged; otherwise, nothing is required of them. Do not pay attention to doubts about whether this occurred while awake or asleep, as the default is that it did not happen unless you are certain. As for someone who intentionally masturbates while awake to break their fast, they must repent and make up that day, and according to the more preponderant opinion, expiation is not required of them.
