Is it permissible to wish for a very bad person to apostatize from Islam so that they enter Hell, knowing that they are corrupt, unjust, sycophantic, hypocritical, a liar, arrogant, and conceited?

It is not permissible to wish for an increase in disbelievers or to supplicate for the death of an oppressor as a disbeliever, because that is an transgression in supplication and contrary to the Sharia, and Allah may grant repentance to the one against whom you supplicate. The matter of guiding people belongs to Allah alone, and the duty is to supplicate for their guidance or to take legal measures to stop their oppression.
