Is the repentance of an alcohol addict, who learned from his doctor that his death is near due to alcohol consumption, accepted?

Repentance is accepted from whoever fulfills its conditions completely before witnessing death, if he is sincere and truthful, no matter his sins. Allah Almighty says: {Allah accepts only the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and then repent soon after. It is they to whom Allah will turn in forgiveness. And Allah is ever All-Knower, All-Wise} [An-Nisa:17]. And Allah Almighty says: {And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons sins} [Ash-Shura:25]. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah accepts the repentance of a servant as long as the death rattle has not reached his throat."
