Cursing is prohibited, especially between spouses. A curse does not pursue a person forever; if the cursed individual deserves the curse, it falls upon them, but if they do not deserve it, it returns to the one who uttered it. One can be rid of a curse and its effects through sincere repentance, remorse, and seeking forgiveness for the sin, whether from the curser for exceeding what is prohibited, or from the cursed so that the curse does not befall them.
