What is the ruling regarding a husband who curses his Muslim wife in anger and refuses to stop doing so?

Cursing is a reprehensible trait that contradicts the ethics of believers. It has been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that: "A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe," and "Cursing a believer is like killing him," and "A believer is not a slanderer, nor a curser, nor an obscene person, nor an ill-mannered one." Cursing is addressed by supplicating for the person afflicted with it, clarifying its legal ruling, reminding them of patience and forgiveness, and explaining the dangers of cursing, the greatest of which is the acceptance of the curse. In the Hadith (definition): "Do not pray against yourselves, nor pray against your children, nor pray against your wealth. Do not coincide with a moment when Allah is asked for a bounty and He responds to you." Among the answered supplications is the prayer of a parent against their child. The questioner is advised to be patient and forbearing, and to counter evil with good.
