An -observing woman may go out during the day to fulfill her needs that require her personal presence. However, she is not permitted to spend the night outside her home or to go out at night, except in cases of necessity. An iddah-observing woman is not allowed to travel before her iddah period ends; rather, she must remain in her marital home.
