What is the ruling on renting out loudspeakers and chairs for weddings and funerals?

Renting loudspeakers and chairs for weddings is permissible if the activities are Islamically regulated, such as chanting and playing the duff. It is impermissible if accompanied by singing and musical instruments. As for renting them for funerals, it is disliked, as it is assisting in a disliked innovation.
