Do the passages in the Revelation of John (13:16-18) that speak of the mark on the right hand or forehead, the inability to buy or sell without it, and the number of the beast, 666, refer to the "verichip" that governments have begun to introduce as an alternative to ATM cards and passports, with the intention of abolishing cash transactions and replacing them with electronic ones? And does the number 666 have a connection to the Dajjal in Islam, especially with some brothers saying that the word "kafir" written between his eyes refers to him?

What is found in the books of the People of the Book is neither to be believed nor disbelieved, unless it accords with what has been established in the Qur’an or the Sunnah. In such a case, the consideration is given to what is established in our law. As for the number 666, it has no meaning in Islam and no relation to the Dajjal (Antichrist); what is said about it is merely legends with no proof. As for "Verichip," it is a new technology for implanting a magnetic chip under the skin containing personal information, and claims linking it to the mark of the beast, or Satan, or the Antichrist are pure superstition.
