Looking at what is forbidden is the harbinger of zina (unlawful sexual intercourse) and is prohibited. Whoever swears not to do something and then does it has broken their oath, and an expiation for the oath becomes obligatory upon them. One must hasten to repent, feel remorse, and firmly resolve not to return to what is forbidden. Marriage is recommended for chastity, along with supplication, frequent fasting to curb desires, avoiding provocations and bad company, and associating with righteous companions. The servant will be held accountable for their hearing, sight, heart, life, and youth on the Day of Judgment.
