Is a perpetual oath valid by intention alone, without uttering words that denote continuity, such as "whenever," knowing that the intention was not to return to the act again?

Breaking a covenant with Allah Almighty necessitates a single expiation for an oath (kaffarat yamin), and it does not repeat unless there is an intention to repeat the expiation with the repetition of the act, or by an oath formula that implies repetition, such as saying: "Every time..." As for the intention not to return (to the sin), it does not require the repetition of the expiation.
