How can an oath of continuity be nullified due to the inability to continue with it?

After an oath has been sworn, it cannot be retracted. If the wording of the oath necessitates repetition, then it is repeated and not dissolved. That is, every time you break your oath, expiation becomes obligatory upon you, and it does not cease to be obligatory unless you are unable, at the time it becomes due, to perform all of its components, even fasting. All expiations are waived if the one capable of performing them is not present at the time they become due, for they fall under the generality of Allah's Almighty saying: {So fear Allah as much as you are able} [At-Taghabun: 16], {Allah does not burden a soul except with what He has given it} [At-Talaq: 7]; and because there is no obligation with incapacity.
