Is it permissible to leave work and devote oneself to worship after the death of one's father due to feelings of negativity and apathy?

Islam encourages worship and has made it the purpose of human creation, and good deeds are an essential component of faith. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, worked for himself and encouraged work. The professions and industries needed by people are communal obligations (fard kifaya). There is no contradiction between worshipping Allah and working. Work is permissible when there is a need for it, provided it is among what Allah has permitted, and with adherence to the legal Islamic guidelines. Otherwise, a woman's staying at home for worship, seeking knowledge, and fulfilling household duties is better for her.
