Sincere repentance, fulfilling its conditions, is sufficient. A Muslim does not need to renew his Islam or offer another repentance if it becomes clear to him that what he committed was a sin and not an act of disbelief (kufr). Increasing seeking forgiveness and repentance in general is a prescribed act, for Allah loves those who repent, accepts their repentance, and forgives them.
