Is it permissible to take money from one's grandmother despite the mother's disapproval?

It is sunnah to accept gifted money without asking questions. The majority of scholars recommend this, unless it is a gift from a ruler. Some scholars are of the opinion that it is obligatory to obey parents in permissible matters. The mother takes precedence in obedience over the grandmother due to the confirmation of her right. If it is possible to combine obedience to the grandmother by accepting her gift and obedience to the mother by gaining her approval, then that is good. If that is not possible, then obedience to the mother takes precedence.
