What is the ruling on a group of individuals agreeing to create a unified schedule for Ramadan that includes specifying a minimum number of Qur'anic recitations (khatmas), among them a khatma for tadabbur (contemplation), and a minimum number of rak'ahs, as well as agreeing upon a specific number of adhkar (remembrances)?

For a person to agree with their friends on a minimum level of worship is permissible, falling under the category of cooperating in righteousness and piety, though it is preferable to conceal good deeds. Time management is important for a Muslim to make the best use of it. They should be diligent in performing the pre-dawn prayer (Qiyam al-Layl), the forenoon prayer (Duha), the remembrance of Allah, and the recitation of the Qur’an after Fajr, and maintain the prescribed prayers and remembrances (adhkar). They should also assign themselves voluntary acts of worship that they can consistently perform. A woman can combine housework with worship by engaging in remembrance (dhikr), listening to the Qur’an, and attending lectures.
