Is it permissible for parents to compel their adult daughter to wear a specific type of hijab, and are they accountable for her before Allah in this case?

We advise you to take it easy on yourself, and trust that your parents are inherently inclined to love you and desire what is good for you. They are responsible for guiding you and protecting you from the Fire. As long as you are convinced of the hijab, strive to be dutiful to them in what is permissible, so that you may earn their pleasure and the pleasure of Allah; for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the parent."
