How can a Muslim be a caller to God amidst the abundance of reprehensible acts at weddings and family gatherings that he cannot refuse to attend?

The Muslim woman has a significant role in calling to Allah, but within general and specific guidelines. The general guidelines include calling to Allah with insight, wisdom, and good admonition. As for the specific guidelines for women, they include: balancing da'wah with her household duties, not neglecting the rights of her husband and children, avoiding unlawful matters like mixing with men (ikhtilat) and being alone with a non-mahram (definition) man (khalwa (definition)), ensuring that da'wah does not undermine the man's qawamah (guardianship/leadership), and confining her direct da'wah to the sphere of women. A woman can call to Allah by reading books and fatwas, gifting religious tapes and booklets, offering advice, educating her children, and enjoining good and forbidding evil.
