Is poor eyesight included in the affliction meant by the hadith: "If I test My servant with his two beloved ones [meaning his eyes] and he perseveres, I will compensate him for them with Paradise"?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said that Allah Almighty said: "If I test My servant with his two beloved ones and he perseveres, I will compensate him with Paradise for them." The "two beloved ones" here refer to the eyes, and their loss means the loss and deprivation of sight.

Patience here means patience at the first shock and seeking reward from Allah Almighty, not mere patience devoid of the intention of reward. Allah's testing of His servant is not a sign of His displeasure, but rather it may be to avert harm, expiate sins, or elevate status.

This compensation includes everyone who loses their sight, perseveres, and seeks reward. Allah's bounty is vast for those whose eyesight weakens and who lose some of its benefit, and who seek reward.
