Will the mother be rewarded for her pregnancy and childbirth resulting from zina (fornication/adultery), or will her sacrifices be in vain? And does the reward for childbirth resulting from zina differ from that of lawful childbirth? And who is responsible for the child's support in this case?

If a woman repents from adultery, it is hoped that the hardship of pregnancy, breastfeeding, and raising the child will atone for her sins and be rewarded, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin." And calamities in general, including these hardships, atone for sins, and Allah raises degrees through them. The mother must spend on her child born of adultery if she is able. If she is not, then the maintenance is on his heirs, then on her agnatic kin, and if they are not found, then on the public treasury (Bayt al-Mal).
