What was the description of the Messenger's clothes, their style, and their colors?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved to wear white and encouraged it, yet he also wore other colors. As for the description of his clothing, his garment reached the middle of his shins, and its sleeves reached his wrists. He wore a qamis (tunic), rida' (outer garment), izar (waist wrapper), jubbah (cloak), and turban. His izar reached the middle of his shins, and whatever is below the ankles is in the Fire.
