What is the method of repentance and seeking forgiveness for committing indecent sexual acts with children, and is this sin considered one of the major sins, and what is its expiation, and is it permissible to emigrate and leave the town due to shame from facing the children who were assaulted?

This act is one of the greatest major sins and most heinous crimes in the sight of Allah. Sincere repentance erases the sin, and its conditions are: abandoning the sin, regretting what has passed, and resolving not to return to it. It is recommended for the sinner to leave the place where he committed the sin and cut ties with bad friends, unless doing so would violate a duty, because with sincere repentance, Allah erases sins and forgives missteps.
