Is loving one's brother's wife considered a sin, given that it is involuntary, and what should one do in this situation?

A servant is not held accountable for what is beyond their will, but they are held accountable for the causes leading to it, such as his mingling with his brother's wife, seeing her, and speaking with her. These actions are forbidden by Islamic law and can lead to severe consequences. The questioner must beware of the devil's machinations and fear Allah regarding himself, his brother, and his parents.

To rid himself of this tribulation, he must: 1. Immediately stop seeing his brother's wife and avoid any occasion where she is present. 2. Refrain from speaking to her or greeting her. 3. Stop thinking about her and prevent his heart from becoming attached to her, as this is not love but an unlawful attachment. 4. Hasten to marry another woman and not wait for his brother's wife. 5. Live separately from his brother and his wife's residence. 6. Strengthen his faith by performing acts of obedience and avoiding prohibitions. 7. Sincerely supplicate to Allah to purify his heart and fill it with His love and the love of His religion.
