How do we reconcile the noble verse, "Then We will surely question those to whom [messengers] were sent, and We will surely question the messengers," with the noble verse, "So on that Day, no man or jinn will be asked about his sin?"

On the Day of Judgment, Allah will question His servants about their deeds. However, this questioning is not for inquiry or information gathering, because He, the Glorified, is Knower of all things. Rather, it is a questioning of rebuke and reprimand, unlike the negation of questioning found in other verses.
